Welcome
Emma Rion Therapy
My aim as a counsellor is to provide a warm, compassionate and non-judgmental space to talk about anything in life that you may be finding challenging. People sometimes come to therapy knowing exactly what they want to work on, or sometimes something doesn’t feel quite right, and they no longer want to face it alone.
I offer a safe and supportive environment for you to explore and process your difficulties and learn new tools to navigate life and thrive while doing so. I see clients once a week at a regular time after an initial tele consultation (free of charge). Your first session is in the form of an assessment, and it is a chance for me to get an understanding of your life, your difficulties and what you are hoping to achieve from therapy. It is also an opportunity for you to get a feeling for the way I work and whether I might be the right therapist for you.
I offer sessions in Gaillac in the Maison de Mieux Être-soi et Santé Naturelle https://www.maisonmieuxetresoi.com/ and also in Toulouse in my cabinet in St Cyprien. I also work online with clients in the UK and Ireland, as well as throughout Europe and the United States via video link.
Let me introduce myself. My name is Emma Rion and I’m a level six psychotherapeutic counsellor based in the Tarn region of France, near Gaillac. Originally from Ireland, I relocated to France over seven years ago and have been living in the Tarn region ever since.
Following a much-loved career as an editor for a publishing company in Cambridge, UK, I retrained as a life coach eight years ago, working primarily as a writing coach and mentor for a number of years. Realising that as much as I love books I primarily enjoy working with people and helping them to thrive led me to train as a counsellor with the Metanoia Institute in London.
I now work with clients on a 1:1 basis both in person and online and am a member of the UKCP (UK Council for Psychotherapy) and the BACP (British Association of Counselling Professionals) and adhere to their codes of ethics.
